GOGVIP works on the mission of, “Strengthening the rural India”. GOGVIP is dedicated towards the goal of making the farmers of the chosen project area self-dependent and providing them the necessary tools to quality improvement of life. This includes providing them opportunities of education and employment which in turn provides them opportunities of growth, competition and realization of their role in the national progress.
Understanding poverty in Indian context is variable in nature depending on place, lifestyle, level of education, availability of technology, etc. Poverty in rural areas is so widespread and usually has complex reasons. Therefore, it is not possible singularly to act and create a significant change on ones own. Therefore it is important to collaborate and take support of other agencies and government. The effort can have a long term effect only when they can approach the various levels. Hence efforts are made time to time to connect them with the mainstream through seminars, events and media.
GOGVIP is in continuous efforts to create a team of trained persons to understand the rural needs and thereby develop expert guidance for the local farmers and villagers to understand their needs and take adequate action accordingly to help eradicate the situation of want.
On a larger frame this aims at creating better levels of self-esteem for the rural inhabitants and an effort to help them have an equal status as of the mainstream. |
